Connie Truong has over 14 years of experience in the P&C industry. She has developed expertise in a number of traditional actuarial fields including Pricing, Reserving and Loss Modeling.

Prior to joining the Dion Strategic Team, Connie held progressively senior roles at Desjardins General Insurance Group. She was a key member of the Automobile and Property pricing teams. In her role as a senior advisor, she contributed to a number of multi-disciplinary projects ranging from budgeting, acquisitions to implementation of regulatory and information technology transformations. Connie has extensive experience with rate filings for the Ontario, Alberta, and Atlantic Canada markets and has created and maintained statistical models ranging from pricing to behavioural and profitability.

Connie graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics, Honours Actuarial Science degree including a Finance Option. She works as the liaison with other teams leveraging analytics to drive profitable growth, improve underwriting and to support external negotiations.
